Changing the backup configuration and schedule

Change the configuration and schedule for backing up the storage spaces for a database server.

Prerequisite: For this action, the OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires HCL Informix 11.70.xC2.

When you configure backups in OAT, the storage spaces are backed up automatically based on the schedule that you set. You can change the backup configuration and schedule.

To change the backup configuration:

  1. On the OAT menu, click Space Administration > Backup.
  2. Click the Configuration tab.
