Deleting the online message log

Delete or truncate the online message log file for the database server.

Prerequisite: For this action, the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires HCL Informix version 11.70.xC3.

To delete the online message log:

  1. On the OAT menu, click Logs > Online Log.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • To delete the log file, click Delete.
    • To delete the messages in the log file, but retain the log file, click Truncate.
