Monitoring database server status

Monitor the status of a specific database server in real time or view the status all the servers in an OAT group at the same time.

You can monitor the status of a specific database server by using a dashboard. This dashboard shows the memory and space usage, the number of locks, transactions, and queries, and the tables with the most reads and writes.

You can view the status of all the database servers in an OAT group on a multiserver dashboard. From this dashboard, you can go to other pages in HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® for more information.

To monitor database server status:

  1. On the OAT menu, click Health Center > Dashboard.
  2. To refresh the dashboard, click the refresh icon or change the refresh rate.
