Physical Log Report

Use this report to review status of the physical log file for the database server.

Logical Log Status
This table displays information for the physical log. Amounts are displayed in the most appropriate unit; for example, KB (kilobytes), MB (megabytes), or GB (gigabytes).
Physical Log Size
The size of the physical log file.
Amount Used
The amount of the physical log file that is used.
Location
The location of the first page in the physical log file.
Start Offset
The offset of the physical log file.
Buffer Size
The size of the physical log buffer.
Physical Log Usage
The chart displays the proportion of physical log file that is used and free for the database server. Move the cursor over the chart to display the percentage and the number of pages for each status. Click Data to display the number of pages by status.
