SQL Editor

Use this page to run SQL queries.

Enter the statement in the Query Editor field and click Run Query to run the query against the current database. You can run only one query at a time. Use the database statement ("database database_name;") to change the current database.

To save the contents of the Query Editor window to a file, click Save Query to File.

To clear the Query Editor field, click Clear.

To specify the content of the TEXT/CLOB columns data and the BYTE/BLOB columns data, select an option from the appropriate list. The default is to display the full TEXT/CLOB data and to ignore the BYTE/BLOB data. The setting also controls the display and output of the columns in the Table Browse tab.

To import a query from a text file, in the Import query from field, enter the full path name for the file, or click Browse to search for the file.

To change the number of rows returned by queries with order by, group by, subqueries, distinct, unions, and aggregates, update the value and click Change.
