Tables and Indexes

Use this page to review information about the tables, indexes, and fragments. This information is displayed for IBM® Informix® version 12.10xC4 and later.

Database
The tenant database that contains the tables and indexes.
Top tables or indexes with poor extent utilization
The three tables or indexes that use the pages most inefficiently. These tables and indexes have the highest percentage of unused and partially used pages.
Name
The name of the table or index. To view information about the table fragments in a fragmented table, expand the table.
Partition Number
The fragment identifier.
Partition Name
The name of the partition or if the partition is not named, the name of the dbspace that contains the partition.
Type
Table or index.
Rows
The number of rows in the table, table fragment, or index.
Extents
The number of extents in the table, table fragment, or index.
Space Usage
A representation of how the space is used. The column represents the total number of pages, for example, 200. Red indicates the number of used pages, and green represents the number of free pages, for example, 150 used pages and 50 free pages. If an estimate is available, pink partially overwrites the red to show the estimated pages that are saved, and red shows the estimated pages used. Green still shows the number of free pages. For example, 25 saved pages, 125 used pages, and 50 free pages. Move the cursor over the graphic to view the number of pages of each type.
Compressed
An indicator of whether the table, index, or fragment is compressed. A clock indicates that a compression task is running, but not completed. To monitor the progress of the task, click the Task Status tab.
Used Pages
The number of pages that are used in the table, table fragment, or index.
Page Usage
An indicator of the number of full, mostly used, partially used, and unused pages for the table or index. Move the cursor over the graphic to view the number of pages of each type.
