Modify Trusted Context Wizard
Use this wizard to modify a trusted context for a database.
Prerequisites: Only
the database security administrator (DBSECADM) role can create, modify,
or delete trusted contexts. For trusted contexts,
the OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires IBM®
Informix 11.70.
- Trusted context name
- The name of the trusted context.
- Enable after creating
- Select this option to enable the trusted context when it is created.
- Connection ID
- Specify the system authorization ID of the user that can establish a trusted connection.
- Trusted locations
- Click Add to specify a communication address
that the client can use to communicate with the database server.
- Host name or IP address
- Enter the host name or IP address of the trusted location.
- Select the default role
- Select the default role for users in a trusted connection that is based on this trusted context. The list contains the roles that are defined for this database.
- Specify the users
- Click Add to specify a user.
- User ID
- Enter the user ID or select it in the list.
- Authentication Required
- Select this option to require authentication when the user on a trusted connection is switched to this user.
- Role
- Select the role for the user. The list contains the roles that are defined for this database.
