Checking for alerts on an Enterprise Replication domain

Check for alerts on the nodes in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain.

An alert is raised when a node meets or exceeds an alert threshold.

To check for alerts:

  1. On the menu for the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix®, click Replication > ER Domain.

Any nodes with alerts are highlighted.

  2. Click the node and then, on the Actions menu, click Node Status.

A page displays the profile data and any alerts for the node.

  3. To review the replication activity for the selected node, on the Actions menu, click Node Details.

The Summary page displays high-level statistics for the selected node. Click the tabs for more detailed information about the node:

    • Capture: Data capture activity at the selected node.
    • Send Queue: The send queue for the selected node and its target nodes and replicates.
    • Network: The network activity between the selected node and its partner ER nodes.
    • Disk Usage: The spaces used by the selected node when the send and receive queues fill and transactions are spooled to disk.
    • Apply: The replicated transactions applied at the current node.
    • ATS: The Aborted Transaction Spooling (ATS) files for the selected node. You can repair failed transactions by using the ATS files from this page.
    • RIS: The Row Information Spooling (RIS) files for the selected node. You can repair failed transactions by using the RIS files from this page.
    • Errors: The errors related to the selected node or the domain.
    • Configuration: The ER configuration parameters defined for the selected node. You can edit the parameters from this page.
