Stopping a replicate

Stop a replicate that is active.

When you stop a replicate, the replicate state is changed to inactive, and any data in the send queue for that replicate is deleted. When a replicate is inactive, Enterprise Replication does not transmit or process any database changes. In general, stop replication only when no replication activity is likely to occur for that table.

If a replicate belongs to an exclusive replicate set, you must stop the replicate set to stop the replicate.

To stop a replicate:

On the menu of the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix®, expand Replication, and then click Replicates.
Click the Replicates tab.
Click the replicate in the table. To view the participants, expand the replicate name.
On the Actions menu, click Stop Replicate.
On the Stop Replicate page, select the participants to stop.
- To stop all the participants in the replicate, select the All Participants check box.
- To stop specific participants, select the check box for each participant that you want to stop.
To stop the replicate, click OK.
