Stopping a replicate set

Change the state of all the replicates in a replicate set to inactive.

When you stop a replicate, the replicate state is changed to inactive, and any data in the send queue for that replicate is deleted. When a replicate is inactive, Enterprise Replication does not transmit or process any database changes. In general, stop replication only when no replication activity is likely to occur for that table.

To stop a replicate set:

On the menu of the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix®, expand Replication, and then click Replicates.
Click the Replicate Sets tab.
Click the replicate set in the table. To view a list of the replicates in the set, expand the replicate set name.
On the Actions menu, click Stop Replicate Set.
On the Stop Replicate Set page, select the participants to stop.
- To stop all the participants in the replicate, select the All Participants check box.
- To stop specific participants, select the check box for each participant that you want to stop. Participants are specified by database server.
To stop the replicate set, click OK.
