Repairing failed transactions with RIS files
Repair failed transactions by using Row Information Spooling (RIS) files. The RIS repair task reconciles rows that failed to be applied on the target server.
Prerequisite: Create a directory
to store the RIS files, enable RIS file generation on the Enterprise
Replication (ER) server, and activate RIS file generation for the
replicate.
An RIS file is generated when a replicated transaction that has row scope defined fails to be applied to the target database because of a conflict, and the entire transaction fails. When you repair the transaction by using the RIS file, you repair the row that is recorded in the RIS file.
