Disconnecting an ER server

Drop the network connection between an Enterprise Replication (ER) server and another ER server in the domain.

Important: When you disconnect a server, ER continues to function and queue transactions. Ensure that the send queues on all other ER servers in the domain do not become full.

To disconnect an ER server:

  1. On the menu of the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix®, click Replication > ER Domain.
  2. On the Routing Topology page or the Server List page, select the server to disconnect.
  3. On the Actions menu, click Disconnect Server.
  4. Select the server to disconnect from.
  5. Click Disconnect.
