Modify Replicate Set

Use this page to add or delete replicates or to change the replication frequency for all the replicates in a set.

Available Replicates

This list displays the replicates that you can add to the replicate set. These replicates are in the current ER domain, and they are not members of an exclusive replicate set. If you are modifying an exclusive replicate set, the replicates in the list are also not members of another replicate set.

To filter the Available Replicates list, type any part of the replicate name in the text box below the list, and then click Apply Filter.

This Replicate Set

This list displays the replicates in the replicate set. You can add or remove replicates.

  • To add replicates to the list, select them in the Available Replicates list, and then click Add, or click Add All.
  • To remove replicates from the list, select them, and then click Remove, or click Remove All.

When you complete the action to modify the replicate set, only the replicates displayed in the list for This Replicate Set are included in the set.

Exclusivity

If this replicate set is an exclusive replicate set, the exclusivity option is selected. You cannot change this option.

Finish or Next

Add replicates, remove replicates, or specify the frequency option for the replicates in the set.

  • To add replicates, without changing the frequency option, click Finish. The frequency option does not change for replicates that are already in the set. Replicates that you add to the set are assigned the default frequency option.
    • For a non-exclusive replicate set, the default frequency for the added replicates is replicate immediately when data arrives.
    • For an exclusive replicate set, the default frequency for the added replicates is the frequency option for the set.
  • To remove replicates, click Finish.
  • To change the frequency option for all the replicates in the set, click Next.

Frequency

Specify the interval between replications or when the replication should occur.

Important: If you change the frequency option, the change applies to all replicates in the set.

Specify the frequency option for all replicates in the set: This option is available if replicates in the set have different frequency options. Select this option so that you can specify the frequency options for all replicates in the set. The frequency option that is specified for the majority of the replicates is selected.

Table 1. Frequency options
Option Description
Immediately Replication occurs immediately when data arrives.
Repeat every Replication occurs when the replicate set is defined and then regularly at the interval that you specify in hours and minutes. For example, if you select this option and 5 Hours and 45 Minutes, the replication occurs immediately and then every 5 hours and 45 minutes.
At this day and time Replication occurs at the day and time that you specify. For example, if you specify Daily at 17 Hours and 45 Minutes, replication occurs every day at 5:45 p.m. If you specify Weekly on Sunday at 17 Minutes and 45 Minutes, replication occurs every Sunday at 5:45 p.m.
