Suspend Replicate Set
Use this page to suspend all the replicates in a replicate set.
If you do not want to completely halt all processing for a replicate, you can suspend the replicate. When a replicate is in a suspend state, Enterprise Replication (ER) captures and accumulates changes to the source database, but does not transmit the captured data to the target database.
Important: When a replicate set is suspended, ER holds
the replicated data in the send queue until the replicate set is resumed.
If a large amount of data is generated for the replicates in the set
while the set is suspended, the send queue space can fill, causing
data to be lost. ER does not synchronize transactions if a replicate
in a replicate set is suspended. For example, a transaction that updates
tables X and Y are split if replication for table X is suspended.
Participants
This list displays all the participants in the replicate set, specified by database server. All the participants are selected because suspending a replicate causes all participants to enter the suspend state.
