Tasks
Use this page to view and submit tasks that load and unload data by using external tables.
Prerequisite: To
load and unload data with external tables, the OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires IBM®
Informix 11.50.xC6
or later.
A load task loads data into a database table from an external table. An unload task unloads data from a database table into an external table. The list displays information about the load and unload tasks that are created and saved in OAT. To view more information about a task, including the task command, click the details icon for the task.
To create a load or unload task in OAT, select the database table for the task, and click the appropriate action on the Actions menu.
- Actions
Click the Actions menu to work with the selected tasks.
- Submit
- Submit the selected tasks.
- Delete
- Delete the selected tasks or group of tasks. The tasks are deleted on the Task page, and the results of the tasks are deleted from the Task Status page.
- Create Group
- Make the selected tasks a group that can be submitted together.
