Database Information

Use this page to view general information about a database that contains database objects that are related to a time series.

Dbspace
The dbspace that contains the system catalogs for this database.
Logging Mode
The log-buffering mechanism that the database uses for transaction logging: buffered, unbuffered, or ANSI-compliant, or no logging.
Locale
The database locale that is set when the database is created. All character data types (such as CHAR, NCHAR, VARCHAR, NVARCHAR, and TEXT) contain data in the code set that the database locale supports.
Space occupied
The total space that is used by the database.
Character case
An indicator of whether the database is case-sensitive. A database that is not case-sensitive does not distinguish between uppercase letters and lowercase letters in the data types NCHAR and NVARCHAR when you search or query the data. For a database that is not case-sensitive, the OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires IBM® Informix 11.70.xC2 or later.
