Restoring when using cooked chunks

You can recreate missing cooked chunk files during a restore.

Restriction: ON-Bar does not recreate chunk files during a logical restore if the logical logs contain chunk-creation records.

To restore when using cooked chunks:

Install the new disk.
Based on your system, perform one of the following tasks:
- On UNIX, mount the device as a file system.
- On Windows, format the disk.
Allocate disk space for the chunk file.
Run the onbar -r -O space command to recreate the chunk files and restore the dbspace.
