Connect to the database server from a client

To connect to the database server, choose a client tool that allows you to submit ad hoc queries.

On UNIX or Linux, you can use the DB-Access utility. For example, run the following command, where database is a database in which you registered the shared-object file that you want to debug:

dbaccess database

On Windows, you can use the SQL Editor.
