Preparing your environment

Before you can debug or test your DataBlade module, you must configure your HCL Informix® database server.

In addition, you must complete the following tasks to use Java™ with the database server:

  1. Create an sbspace to hold the Java JAR files.
  2. Create the JVP properties file.
  3. Add or modify the Java configuration parameters in the onconfig file.
  4. Install symbolic links to the Java VM libraries. (UNIX and Windows NT only)
