Adding a new field description to the format
To add a new field description to the format:
- Open the Fixed Format Definition window. For more information, see Creating a fixed format.
- Click Add in the Operation group.
- Type the field specifications in the text boxes at the top of the window.
- Click Perform to add the new field at the end of the list.
- Click OK to save your changes and return to the Record Formats window.
- Click Cancel to return to the HPL main window.
