Deleting a field description from the format

To delete a field description from the format:

  1. Open the Fixed Format Definition window. For more information, see Creating a fixed format.
  2. Click Delete in the Operation group.
  3. Select the field that you want to delete.
  4. Click Perform to delete the field.
  5. Click OK to save your changes and return to the Record Formats window.
  6. Click Cancel to return to the HPL main window.
