Syntax for setting environment variables
Use standard UNIX commands
to set environment variables. The examples in the following table
show how to set the ABCD environment variable to value for
the C shell, Bourne shell, and Korn shell. The Korn shell also supports
a shortcut, as the last row indicates. Environment variables are case-sensitive.
