Adding an SDS server

Add a shared disk secondary (SDS) server connection to a high availability cluster.

Prerequisites:

Find and name the clusters in the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix®. See Finding high availability clusters.
Install and configure the idsd daemon on the Informix database server. See Configuring connectivity for high availability clusters.

To add an SDS server connection:

On the OAT menu, click Replication > Clusters.
Under Clusters, select the cluster. The cluster topology and the list of servers are displayed.
Click Add SDS. Complete the Add SDS Server wizard.
