Dropping a database

Remove a database and delete the tables and data stored in it.

Prerequisite: To drop a database, the OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires HCL Informix 11.70.xC2.

To drop a database:

  1. On menu for the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix, click SQL Toolbox > Schema Manager.
  2. Select the database.
  3. On the Actions menu, click Drop Database.
