Here is a brief description of the interface elements that show Informix® Smart Analytics Optimizer Studio functionality.

This figure shows IBM Data Studio with Informix Smart Analytics Optimizer Studio opened in the Data perspective. Descriptions of elements in the graphical user interface are given in yellow boxes.

The Properties view at the bottom shows the General page of the data mart that is displayed on the canvas. In this context, the General page gives you access to the following buttons:

Set Database: Opens the Select Connection window, in which you can select another database connection profile for the selected data mart. The change associates the data mart with another database and thus provides a different set of source tables and schemas for the data mart.
Refresh Database Cache: Uses the database catalog to refresh the list of tables and their size in the cache.
Validate: Validates the structural and referential integrity of the data mart that is currently displayed on the canvas.
Deploy: Deploys the data mart that is currently displayed on the canvas.
