Managing Enterprise Replication with a grid

Manage a set of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain. Define a grid, authorize servers from which to run grid commands, authorize users to run the commands, monitor the status of the grid tasks, and rerun grid commands. Route client connections to replication servers in a grid.

Prerequisite: For this action, the HCL OpenAdmin Tool (OAT) for Informix® requires HCL Informix version 11.70.

Creating a grid
Define a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain. Authorize a server from which to run grid commands and users to run the commands.
Deleting a grid
Delete a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain.
Adding members to a grid
Add servers to a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain, and optionally authorize a server from which to run grid commands.
Changing the users of a grid
Authorize users to run grid commands for a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain, or remove the authorization to run grid commands from users.
Enabling or disabling a source server for a grid
Enable a server to run commands in a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain, or remove that authorization from a server.
Monitoring the status of grid tasks
Monitor the status of tasks that are run through a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain.
Rerunning a grid command
Rerun a command that failed on one or more servers in a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain.
Removing a grid command
Remove the metadata and the task status for a command that ran on the servers in a grid of interconnected replication servers in an Enterprise Replication (ER) domain.
Routing client connections in a grid
Route client connections to replication servers in a grid based on the quality of replicated data and transaction latency by configuring service level agreements (SLAs) for a Connection Manager.
